About

I didn't pick the trades because they made a good niche.

I've spent roughly 20 years working in and around this industry.

Cabinetry. Kitchen and bath. Building products. Showrooms. Contractors. Designers. Manufacturers.

Marketing came later.

Jenn, founder of RemodelerRank

For several of those years, my roles included general management and marketing leadership responsibilities. I got to see both sides: what it takes to run the business and what it takes to convince someone to choose it. That meant brand and print, events and seminars, sales materials, client experience, and referral programs, not just websites and search.

Today, I work directly with businesses that build things across Northern California.

And somewhere along the way, I started noticing the same disconnect over and over:

The business was good. The marketing didn't show it.

Beautiful work buried in camera rolls.

Websites that said almost nothing.

Decades of knowledge living entirely inside the owner's head.

Great reputations that stopped at word-of-mouth.

Marketing tools that existed, but weren't connected.

That's what RemodelerRank grew out of.

I don't need to pretend to be a contractor.

You know how to build the project.

My job is to understand it well enough to help other people see why you're good at it.

That means asking better questions. Understanding what makes a project desirable. Knowing that craftsmanship can be difficult to communicate to someone who doesn't know what they're looking at. Recognizing that being "busy" and having a healthy pipeline aren't necessarily the same thing. And respecting the fact that your reputation took years to build.

Different Tools. Same Respect for the Work.
